About BMP T-Shirts

BMP T-Shirts started with an original set of designs that reflected the jokes within the gay community. As we continue to grow, our influences are focused on the driving forces of our community: equality, acceptance and tolerance. Our motto: “We’ve Got Your Back!” is our way of expressing our unity among all members of the LGBT community.

From the start, all of our clothing were hand-painted. Selling at pride festivals, the response was astounding. When comedienne Suzanne Westenhoefer, who was hosting NJ Pride 2003 in Asbury, came by our tent remarked, “Ya’ know, you’re gonna burn in hell for that one!” after viewing our “What Would Joan Do?”

Ah, ha! We knew we were on to something!

From pride festivals, we went onto major trade shows such as the GLBT Expo and the Gay Life Expo, both at the Jacob Javits Center in New York 2005. It was at the GLE where we met of Bravo’s “Queer Eye for the Straight Girl”, Honey Labrador. She interviewed us at our booth and said we were the “buzz of the Expo!” Afterwards, she wanted our “Bitch Mode On” shirt to wear on her show!

We were then contacted by Martian Entertainment, producers of two NYC off-Broadway plays, “Dog Sees God” and “Naked Boys Singing.”  We supplied the cast and crew of “Dog Sees God” with our “WWJD” t-shirts to complement one of the lines in the play. Our “Bitch Mode On” shirt was also worn on stage by one of the actors in “Naked Boys Singing.”

And on May 7th, 2006, Kim Stolz from “America’s Next Top Model” interviewed us for here!TV at the Equality Forum in Philadelphia, PA.

Along the way, BMP T-Shirts has contributed to community organizations and we are proud to help support their efforts. A portion of every sale goes to help support the Matthew Shepard Foundation.

We are dedicated to providing the highest in quality so you will always look and feel great.

Thanks for watching!
